The Adaptation Measure of the Year Competition

Aim of The Adaptation Measure of the Year Competition is support of adaptation measures in the Czech Republic as same as to communicate its using under development planing, the businesses management or public management standards.

The Adaptation Measure of the Year Competition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. The evaluation committee is composed of representatives of the Ministry of the environment, Charles University – Environment Centre, Centre for Transport and Energy, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, Integra Consulting, Masaryk University and Green Circle organization.

The Adaptation Measure of the Year Competition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. First year of the competition was open for all from public administration, nongovernment and nonprofit organizations (include universities etc.) and private scene.
 
Competition was open for projects focused on adaptation on climate change like a floods, heat waves, droughts or other weather extremes.  

Adaptation projects helping to protect property, to save climate change impact costs and also protecting the environment was suitable for the competition, open for any size measures – from big regional projects to small local activities.  There are two categories: main for already realized measures and second category for proposals and studies.
